Counselling services

Counselling is short term and solution based, focusing on resolving psychological issues with the help of a qualified professional counsellor. People turn to counselling when they need support or at a crossroads in their lives. Counselling provides the chance to talk things through, very often relieving emotional pressure, clearing the way for people to focus and decide what to do next. Counselling can provide a sense of direction and a greater ability to achieve goals. At AccessEAP we foster a welcoming counselling environment where age, gender, race, religion and sexual orientation are accepted without judgement.

Professional counselling is a key service we offer at AccessEAP. We provide extensive coverage via a large Australian and International EAP network. With over 2 000 counsellors available, we can guarantee your employees will have access to confidential counselling support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Face-to-Face Counselling

The preferred mode of counselling where a therapeutic relationship between a counsellor and client is most easily established. EAP counselling usually occurs in the counsellor’s professional office, in a location convenient to work or home.

Couples and family counselling is also available and can be requested when booking appointment.

Telephone or Video Chat Counselling

Counselling can be offered over the phone for an emergency and as an alternative to face-to-face counselling if this is not desired or convenient. Telephone counselling can be accessed from all locations using our 1800 telephone number.

Online Counselling

Online counselling can be arranged as an alternative to face to face counselling for remote locations via Video Chat or Email.
