Urgent Onsite Support

After a critical incident, counselling is needed quickly. This matter of urgency can vary but generally this service is for drastic changes in a team, high-risk situations, or with the loss of a colleague. 

How it Works

When a critical incident is reported, a manager has an online or phone consultation with a clinician to scope out the best approach and ensure the most appropriate clinical support is provided.

A clinician visits onsite, usually they will do so one-on-one, but sometimes small groups may be appropriate. Individuals use this service on a voluntary basis.

It includes the opportunity for each staff member to request a follow-up one week post the onsite support. The follow-up is conducted by the clinician who provided the initial onsite support for the critical matter.
