Inclusive EAP Support – LGBTQIA+ Dedicated Line for Safe and Confidential Care
AccessEAP’s Inclusive EAP Support provides a safe, judgement-free space for LGBTQIA+ employees to access confidential counselling and guidance. Through our LGBTQIA+ Dedicated Line, individuals can connect with counsellors who are trained to understand both the shared and unique challenges facing the community. We approach every conversation with compassion, respect, and cultural sensitivity, ensuring each person feels valued and supported.
We believe that everyone has a right to feel safe and understood, regardless of sexual or gender identity. We also understand that many of the concerns that LGBTQIA+ employees bring to counselling are common to all people and are not related in any way to their sexual or gender identity.
However, our counsellors are also sensitive to, and continue to learn about, some of the unique challenges you may face as part of the LGBTQIA+ community.
We offer confidential support in a sensitive, comfortable and culturally appropriate way. Dedicated lines are available if that support feels right for your people.
How it Works
This inclusive and judgement free space allows an employee to speak openly and comfortably. The line is operated by consultants using pronouns to identify themselves and who ask how an individual wants to be addressed.
